Our signature pick

Begin with the beef arancini.

Break through the crisp shell and the centre gives way to slow-cooked beef and mozzarella, finished with jus. It is generous, tactile and made for the first shared plate of the table.

Then choose your direction: fresh line fish and crayfish linguini for the sea; lamb shank or a cut from the grill for something deeper; cauliflower steak or aubergine schnitzel when vegetables should hold the centre of the plate.

Plan the table

Make an occasion of floor fifteen.

Ask for a city, harbour or Lion’s Head view when reserving. Arrive before the light changes, leave enough time for dessert, and let the room become part of the evening.

The neighbourhood from above

Old roofs, new city, one wide view.

From the fifteenth floor, De Waterkant’s layers become legible: close-set heritage roofs below, Signal Hill behind them and the reclaimed Foreshore reaching toward Table Bay.
